Lotterywest funds new Leeuwin website
In a new project set to begin in November, the Leeuwin Foundation has received news of approved funding from Lotterywest to enable the development of a new Leeuwin Ocean Adventure website.
Chief Executive Officer Carol Shannon talks about what this funding means to the Foundation.
“Lotterywest has supported Leeuwin in so many different ways over the last 30 years. The recent granting of funds by Lotterywest to enable the development of a new Leeuwin Ocean Adventure website could not have come at a better time as the power of digital platforms for marketing and brand management, and information dissemination become ever important to successful business outcomes,” said
Ms Shannon.
The aim of the project is to provide the Foundation with an online platform to communicate and effectively interact with their audiences: youth, parents, schools and community organisations, as well as sponsors and the general public throughout WA.
The new website will enable the process of payments for donations, memberships and merchandise to become more streamlined, include a newsletter sign-up or request for information, be mobile-friendly and overall reflect the new look and feel of the Foundation leading into the future.
In early June, Bang Digital were identified by the Leeuwin team as the preferred digital agency.
“We look forward to working with and harnessing Bang Digital’s knowledge and experience to deliver an exceptional new website for Leeuwin,” Ms Shannon explained.
The Leeuwin team will work together with Bang Digital in a series of planning phases to roll-out the new website in 2017. The first phase is currently in process.
