Leeuwin Arrives at AMC for Repairs
We’re pleased to share that STS Leeuwin II has successfully been moved from Fremantle to the Australian Marine Complex (AMC) in Henderson, where she is now out of the water and undergoing essential repairs.
This marks a major milestone in the restoration process following the collision in August. The move was made possible thanks to the dedicated efforts of our crew and volunteers, who worked tirelessly to prepare the ship for dry dock. We’d like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Jetwave Marine for providing our support tug, Franmarine for providing divers and to SEAREADY, where Leeuwin will call home during the rebuild process.
We’re excited to begin this next phase and will continue to share updates as work progresses.
