Thanks to our generous sponsors, the Foundation is able to offer scholarship support to cover full or part of the voyage fare. Below is an overview of the scholarships that are currently available. Planned giving from the Geoffrey Evans Trust has resulted in two available scholarships for Great Southern youth (aged 14-25) with a marine or maritime interest.
This Woodside Scholarship is aimed at young people aged 14-25, who reside in WA and are interested in a career in the marine environment or the maritime industry.
The City of Mandurah and Leeuwin Ocean Adventure have come together to offer one parent and one youth (12+) the opportunity to board the Leeuwin Parent Project run from 3 – 5 March 2018.
The scholarship covers up to $1,000, leaving $300 (minimum) to be covered by the applicant or other sponsors for the complete voyage fare of $1,300. The cost of transport to and from the ship is not included in the voyage/scholarship amount.
