ULTIMATE SLEEPOVER Wednesday 8 February 2023

The Ultimate Sleepover is a unique opportunity for children with disability (11 years -plus) to spend a night on the magnificent STS Leeuwin II, without leaving the harbour! Right here alongside B-Berth in Fremantle Port, we climb in the rigging, haul on lines, take the helm, watch ships in the harbour and sleep in a ship’s bunk.

Coming on board on their own or with a parent, grandparent, guardian or carer, this is a wonderful overnight adventure with time to explore, make new friends, try new things and simply have fun.

THE PROGRAM

DAY 1:

3:30 pm – Welcome on Board & bunk allocations – time to stow away your gear
4:00 pm – Afternoon snack – fruit/biscuit and a box drink
5:00 pm – Deck activities – including the opportunity to climb the bowsprit before dinner
6:00 pm – Dinner on board – all hands to clearing tables and washing-up
7:30 pm – On deck activities and hopefully some big ships in / Board games, quoits and activities
9:30 pm – Lights out

DAY 2:

6:30 am – Up for exercises on deck – freshen up ready for the day
7:30 am – Cooked breakfast – all hands to clearing tables and washing-up
8:30 am – All hands to stowing away gear and getting the ship clean and tidy – ready for a new day too

9:00 am – Time to say farewell
